Solid Hit 10th Anniversary with Ted Massey Details

A big thanks for everyone's support at the last Solid Hit, great night, packed out & big thanks to Ady Croasdell for a fantastic guest spot.

Onto December & our anniversary, wow where did that time go, 10 years have just flown by, unbelievable. Thanks to everyone for your support over this time & it's great that some people are still with us who attended the very first nights @ Vivos. Thanks also to all those guest DJs & of course our residents who have kept the standard of music so high over those 10 years not forgetting 2 of the original resident DJs Martin Thomson & Gene Robertson who made massive contributions in our early years before deciding to "hang up their DJ boxes".

Well enough waffle, 5th December sees Ted Massey as our special guest on this special occasion for us & we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible joining Ted & the residents Des Parker, Stuart Tyler, Shane Cox & Dave Greenhill for a night of semi-knowns, underplayed, current niter sounds + quality oldies. 60s Northern for the floor  5 Quid to get in 8pm-1am

Hope to see you there

Well worth getting down early as we have Paul Cross from Telford doing the early spot, he was on earlier this year & played a brilliant set right in the groove of Solid Hit & he's champing at the bit for this so expect another great set.

Solid quality Northern from the very beginning until the last, no wishy washy warm up DJ at Solid Hit, get along early & get your full 5hours of quality tunes (needless to say all OVO)

Hope to see you there

Hmm, not sure, it's so far away.......

Just Googled the trek from work to SHS on foot. Via A10 / Bishopsgate, 0.2 Miles / 4 mins.  That doesn't allow for a swift detour into Hamilton Hall, Dirty Dicks and Woodins Shades on the way.

Should still just be able to make it for 8-30pm, if I set off from work at 5pm sharp

Well, Ted wasn't taking any prisoners!  Great set.

And the numbers appeared quite healthy too.  Felt for the bloke behind the bar; just couldn't cope.  Bit like the air con    I better wear my shorts next time!!

See you in February.

Enjoyable evening at SHS, good music played. Ted excellent as usual, really liked Paul Cross's set, and thanks for CD. Sterling work by the regulars. All in all very nice and particularly good to see Colin and Mo Gemski.
