You're not wrong there Andy, these boys are some of the most respected on the RnB scene, it's a real coup for me and for Charity Soul to have Steve Hiscock doing not just 1 but 2 DJ spots.

Steve very rarely DJ's despite numerous requests from all over the country, he is the man every RnB club wants and Charity Soul are being graced with his presence.

Steve has hand picked the DJ's who will be representing the North East and I'm honoured to be the man who has brought them together for this fantastic and wonderful cause and charity.

STEVE HISCOCK (Middleton Allnighter, Backbeat, Flipside, Toonalldayer, Proprieter online record store 'Rhythm Lounge')

HOSS (Middleton Allnighter, Hideaway, Radcliffe, Toonalldayer plus many many more)

DICKA (The Bridge, Stout fiddler, Beat n Rhythm, Toonalldayer etc

DEKA (Soul union, Toonalldayer and many more)

BRIAN CARDNO (Barrels RnB club Berwick)

Heres a little bit of history of these fantastic DJ's which by no means tells the whole story of course, these boys have been on the RnB scene for over thirty years and have built up a wealth of music which we are all going to be privileged to hear.

Also with having Steve and Hoss together we are going to be treated to a Middleton allnighter re-union, anyone who remembers Middleton will have spent a lot of time in the RnB room (as I did and which led to my love and involvement on the RnB scene)

Apart from doing the Toonalldayer once a year Steve never DJ'S these days even though he is asked repeatedly from events all around the world but he is kindly doing this as a one off for this fantastic Charity and Charity Soul

I for one just can't wait

Steve Hiscock is my wife's most despised person on the planet (he empties the bank account on a frequent basis).

I on the other hand think he's a "mega mega bloke" & one I may just make the 3 & a half hour trek to listen to

Be good to see you mate and it's definitely not one to miss, get yourself a car load and go on to the Radcliffe allnighter after, I'm sure Billy will be up for it.

After the euphoria of Headingley we are back at the home of the 'Roots Room' for our final event before our 3 month summer break.

This is a very special event as we have Steve Hiscock taking over the room with his North East showcase, as I've said previously Steve never DJ's but sells records to just about everyone on the Mod/RnB scene, his knowledge and collection is second to none.

We have people like Lee Miller (New Untouchables) making the trip just because of steve which just goes to show how much everyone holds him in such high esteem.

I urge everyone to make a date for this as this is as rare as hens teeth.

A great addition to the main room, we have Billy Whizz

Billy is a regular at Charity Soul UK events, albeit usually in the Roots Room, this time however, he is gracing us with his presence in the Main Room.

I love to have Billy by my side no matter where I am, be it on the floor at an Allnighter or behind the decks at the Charity Soul UK events, Top guy with Top records

Wow, the line up of DJ's at the Manhattan is usually second to none but this line up is the 'crème de la creme', the inclusion of Billy Whizz in the Main Room make this a truly awesome line up.

The dynamic duo of Sammy (Billy Davis ) Seaman an' Stu, the one and only ( and my wife's personal hero) Steve Luigi plus INTERNATIONAL DJ's ,  and the North East Finest Ron Lavender this promises to be a real 'stonker' of an all-dayer

Will be in the gym for some stamina training   for what is likely to a brilliant  day, and that doesn't include the dancing

Thanks its a great honour for me to do the main room, hope to try my best. Not forgetting its an honour to do dekka's room also. One of the nicest and honest chap you'll meet on the scene. And also not forgetting every penny whats earned goes to charity, a very worthy cause. We must know a friend or loved one who's gone through this horrible disease they call C. I almost lost my daughter two years ago to it, but shes on the mend now and all clear. And some one who is very close to me and my other half is know going though it. Enough said. See you all on the day safe journey, Cheers Billy.
