Fantastic line up as you say Andy, may I also add that the Ad-Lib boys are here by kind permission of Glenn the promoter and founder of Ad-Lib ( I asked his permission if I could approach the boys) All the boys and himself are delighted to appear for such a worthy cause such as Charity Soul UK

Well Dekka  another outstanding line up

Hope I can get away from the door for an hour and try and get in the room, plenty of folk have commented on how much they enjoyed it think you have some converts from the northern room.

Hopefully Pete will be posting the djs for the northern room.

Can I just say great gesture to  reduce the door money for this one  its a great way to say thanks to all the people who have supported charitysoul in Harrogate.

The weather was horrendous for the last one yet people still supported us so its nice to give a bit back and still raise money for the prof.

Cheers mate  Tony

As this is the last Manhattan event for 2015, and hopefully to assist the DOOR STAFF  who are apparently 'marooned' on the front of house missing out on the excitement within, I will once again relieve, Mr. Jackson so he can enjoy Dekka's room.

Anyone who is in and around Harrogate on the 24th get yourselves to this great all-dayer, it's a 'must' for any dedicated soul music lover, with every 'genre' of music catered for.

The DJ's, raffle ticket collectors, door staff do this for ZILCH monetary reward, all totally volunteering their services for this worthwhile cause, so with your attendance and support you ARE helping to generate profits which go directly to Professor Maitlands ground breaking research into finding a cure for Prostate Cancer.

ps. Dekka any chance of a spin from you or any of your illustrious friends of Val Bennett's - The Russian's Are Coming (Take Five )

The Professor will be attending the event, so a great opportunity for people to ask him questions about his research and of course his involvement with Charity Soul and how the Charity funds are utilised, after all, it's all of you who come to support these events that helps fund these research projects

For the Plebbs  going from PONTE/KNOTTLA/CAS there is a covered wagon drawn by donkeys picking up at Knottingley and Broken Bridge, Pontefract then on to Leeds, you can add your name to the illustrious 'celbs' list at the 41st Birthday Celebration event all-dayer at Kellingley on 31st October. Canapes and Pork Scratching's will be available en -route

NEWS FLASH. A Charabanc has been acquired so the Wagon and donkeys no longer needed, sorry the Canapes cannot be provided.

Right Yorkie Soul lovers, 3 days to go before the last Manhattan Lounge all-dayer for Charity Soul. We (Yorkie Tykes) have a lot to do to beat the monies raised at the last two charity events.

Easington set the bench march with a brilliant contribution from our friends oop North thought this sum of cash generated would be hard to beat, but low and behold the England/Scotland mini- weekender at Huntingdon matched and beat his sum, at the last count approx. £1900 there or there about's, which was a fantastic achievement from our Southern (well almost) home counties(?) compatriots.

We cannot allow our friends down south to let the last CS go by and hold title of greatest contributors, so c'mmon Tykes (Hot Pots,Geordies, Lincoln Poachers et all) get yerselves to Harrogate dispel the myth of a ".....Yorkie with short arms 'n long pockets" have a great time, which is NOT in doubt and let's beat this contribution sum for all the un-stinting, hard, unpaid work done by TOC and the boys .....................you know it makes sense.............Lets Fight Cancer Together

So looking forward to this one gets better & better. Once again a top line up of djs in Dekkas roots room creating a terrific atmosphere this room just gets better.

The main room doesn't let us down either once again top notch djs guaranteed to keep the dance floor busy.

And if these two rooms are not your cup of tea we also have Lodgies modern room. I'm told this is probably the best modern room in yorkshire, big dancefloor with plenty of comfortable seating.

As Dave stated we've raised a terrific amount at easington & Cambridge be great to finish this month with another terrific day. You've got me fired up Dave so I'm gunna dig deep in my pocket and get £2 of raffle tickets haha.

Which reminds me if anyone coming wishes to donate something for the raffle it will be gratefully received.

Plus we will have on sale our memorabilia, shirts, badges etc.

Plus we will have on sale charitysouls Xmas Cards and 2016 calenders.

See you allSaturday. Tony
