Really enjoyed last month, great variety of tunes from all DJs and looking forward to the next one. Great to see a few events back in the local area, this ones another that's growing from strength to strength.

Well if you're fed up of hearing the same old Northern Soul (boots) and want to hear rare and underplayed sounds from Bettye Swann 'when the game is played on you' to the Detroit Sounds of Friction 'I'm leaving you' with classic Northern sounds like Big Dons Rebellion all on original vinyl I might add, this is the place for you. Having been a couple of times now would have to say I've been very impressed with the quality of music played, brings back memories of the Clifton Hall in Rotheram over 30 years ago, Otis Clay the only way is up and Curtis how can I tell her, brilliant a proper Northern Soul night!!

Regardless of the amount of events on tonight I'm sure it's still going to be a great night tonight at Movin on A Groove. The playbox is ready with some well known classics and a few 'new' ones that I'll be playing tonight. See you all there!

What a fantastic night of quality soul music with a great crowd of knowledgable soul fans. My personal favourite of the night was 'Daybreak' which was spun by Nick McKinnon who has one of the finest collections that I have seen. Some classics from guest Geoff Alllman and host Steve Hay, who has put a lot of effort into making this night what it is. Having the early spot I enjoyed playing some slower stuff like Willie Hutch's Just Another Day. Some great comments on the night and this morning which make it seem worthwhile. Already looking forward to next months. See you there!
