We have gone with an all-local line up for our first night. Northern Soul, R&B, 60s Garage, Mod, Ska and more - all from original vinyl.

There will also be a free prize draw on the night. Anyone who is attending has the chance to win, what we are calling a "Northern Soul record collectors starter kit". This will be a selection of 10 original vinyl 45s from the 60s.

Our philosophy for RSGG in 2015 is to play top notch 60s soul, northern, r&b, ska and mod classics and rare tracks - all from vinyl. We will have no dress code and no door charge. Our nights will be about music, dancing, meeting new people and enjoying yourself.

Everyone at Ready Steady Go Go has a common vision: We love this music! and we want to make it more accessible to the people of Inverness and the Highlands. We also want to promote more vinyl music locally and have built a partnership with local music shop, Union Vinyl.

Some of you might remember the original RSGG nights which ran in Inverness over 10 years ago. We had regular guest DJs from around Scotland but also promoted local talent. We want to continue that ethos. So, if you'd like a guest DJ slot, and particularly if you are local, please get in touch.
