Soul Unity at City Airport ( Barton) A57 Details

After our first night at this venue in November a lot has happened - firstly many thanks to all who supported the first night. As soon as we finished in November the then owners of the venue announced they would not be renewing the lease so once again we were "Venueless" and we had to cancel all the planned nights for December onwards.

Then the "Soul Fairy" arrived on the scene and introduced us to the new management of this venue who informed us that a full revamp of the place was to take place (over the next few months), the name was to change to "Runway 26 Café Bar" and that they would be delighted to work with ourselves and integrate Soul Unity into their new business plan.

We wanted to run in February but as the alcohol licence was being transferred we did not fancy running a "Dry" re-launch night so we held back a month.

We are sticking with the formula of the first night:

Music Policy - nice and simple: Quality Modern Soul from the 70's onwards through to Rare Groove alongside some of the classic tunes from those brilliant nights at events such as TSOP, The Howard, The Trafalgar, Parkers, and many more iconic soul nights across the North West.

The night will run from 9.00pm through to 2.00am with a late bar (yes we are trying to get Guests to come out early - if you can you will hear some nice early doors tunes!).

The venue is 0.7 mile of the M60 Junction 11 (A57) and 7.5 mile from Junction 21 of the M6 Junction 21 (A57)

DJ's on the night will be Mark Grice, Tony Shawcross, and Chris Priestley.

Wow, can't wait for this one. The buzz is building very nicely on this event which once again promises to play a selection of quality soul music with memories from some of the North West top soul nights. Plus a few surprises, some very nice early doors tunes, and some current up front tunes.

Please be early as it could get busy.
