KILIMANJARO CHALLENGE NORTHERN SOUL NIGHT Details
NORTHERN SOUL AND MOTOWN NIGHT. TO SUPPORT THE KILIMANJARO CLIMB CHALLENGE
TO RAISE MONEY FOR SHREWSBURY SEVERN HOSPICE.
Severn Hospice is a place that is always there when a loved one needs support. We ensure that all that use the services provided by us are treated with dignity and respect and although our care is provided free of charge it is not without cost.
The funding for Severn Hospice is unique in that it is mainly funded by the local community, who wish to support their local hospice and they do so in many varied ways.
A decision to undertake any physical challenge is one that requires thought and planning and it was after seeing the help and support that his Uncle; Michael Cross received at Severn Hospice that Drum and bass promoter DJ ED LIVEWIRE decided that he would climb Kilimanjaro all in aid of raising much needed funds for Severn Hospice.
At 19341 feet above sea level Kilimanjaro is the tallest free standing mountain on earth and the highest mountain in all Africa, and the route that ED LIVEWIRE is planning to undertake will take 7 days of hard work and dedication.
We at Severn Hospice will be cheering him every step of the trek and we hope that you will be able to support Ed in his efforts too.
Of every £1.00 that ED LIVEWIRE receives in donations 90p will go directly on patient care and ensuring that we are there for the next family that needs us.
Ed Will be departing the UK and leaving for Tanzania in Africa on the 15 of October 2015. And if all goes to plan will be getting ready to make his attempt for the Summit of Kilimanjaro on what would have been his Uncle’s 68 Birthday.
It is a wonderful tribute to Michael Cross and we hope that you will support him in his efforts and fundraising.
