Groovin' @ Grundy's Details

Hello Everyone,

Thought I'd already posted this but can't see it... so, obviously hadn't!

If you fancy a rather pleasant afternoon, socialising with like-minded souls, drinking real ale ( there's bloody loads of them too!) and possibly indulging in a Sunday roast dinner (12pm - 4pm), then you know where you oughtta be..... things crank up from around 1pm 'ish and run thru to 8pm 'ish and of course, it's free to get in.

Music policy will be all things soulful, with a little bit of everything ..... but not too much of any one thing .... at any one time!

Regulars .... Rob Kay, Dave Lucas and Kev Rodgers and DenMac .... will be joined by this time's guest ...MARK JOHNSON.

Mark's well known in soul circles across the country and ....as with our previous guest Andy Murfin, 'Johnno' is also an avid collector of those little black shiny things we all love! Add in the fact that he's a long time promoter of soul events in Derby & Burton as well as an accomplished DJ and it all adds up to being a rather tasty afternoon!

So, we'd like for you to join us for some soulful ear and foot refreshment in the very comfortable surroundings of Mr Grundy's ..... which happens to have it's own brewery on-site .... and if you don't fancy the chef-prepared Sunday Lunch, there's baguettes, chips and a range of other foods available too.

If you've never been to Mr Grundys .... check out the links below ...

or just Google "Mr Grundy's

Cheers, Kev
