Welcome to the Daft Lads April Sunday Soul Sesh!

As always the last Sunday of the month 31st May (always seems too long in between). No John Poole this month (gone to eat his own bodyweight in Pizzas). So, for your delectation, we have Glyn Sisson, Tony G and Tony C (aka the TwoTones), Kyp the Faith and Paul Lightly of Acacia Radio and hopefully Skinny himself will be spinning a few!

Special guests Canice Doyle and Stephen Perkins

Extra special guest for this month, the one and only Tommo (Mick Nottingham)!!

We always aim to play something different at The Greyhound. Tunes that you may not have heard for many a year, some you may have heard recently, but rest assured, we only play the very best in classic, underplayed and unreleased Northern Soul and Motown with a hint of 70's, crossover and R&B.

Come along and finish your weekend with friends, listening to superb music and have a drink or three! Aprils Daft Lads was a packer (again).

And don't forget, it's free entry! Check the Daft Lads facebook page for updates on more "Daft Lads on the Road" gigs. Next one is Saturday 9th May at the Nags Head in Kirkby. The first one was a great success and we aim to build on that foundation.

Come along and hear some of the best music around. Special guest all the way from Spain is Tommo! We also have a burger van selling a variety of snacks and jacket tatties. (John Poole will be kicking himself he's not at this one)!

Wow!! What a fabulous turnout yesterday for the presentation of the cheque to NSAC. All the DJ's did brilliant sets. Big thanks to Tommo and Ethan Howarth for their "fairly impromptu" vinyl contributions. The place was packed and buzzing almost up until 10.30pm! Brilliant. Caroline and Sandy did a great job with raffling off the unclaimed prizes from Plessey. Was great to meet the three guys from Birmingham who just got up in the morning and thought "we'll go to the alldayer in Beeston". And last but definitely not least, everyone who came and made the day such a fantastic success, thank you.
