The Sunday Soul Sessions- Kettering Details

Troop;

We're back for another session of sumptious soul that spans all era's and styles which includes New, Recent & Decent nestling alongside Deep, Sweet, Crossover, Northern, Modern  e.t.c.

Our four half hour slots have proven to be an inspirational move, we have had some superb sets from our guests and our playlists here on soul source have attracted very high viewing figures.

The venue is a real ale pub and we put in a very high spec sound system.

Its free in too, so whats not to like.

Just one of the many great 45's that will get a play or two this coming Sunday.

Well done for finding that on a 45 Brian!..seems to have a few collectors looking through the shelves and scratching their heads:thumbsup: Superb track and will sound great in that room on Sunday, early Birthday treats for what looks to be a great month ahead:)

We have a class new CD player this time too, so as usual a few cd only things that never made it to vinyl during the night to keep it nice n varied.

Look forward to seeing anyone there who can make it along, as always first in from 7 with a bunch of records get to choose your preferred half hour slot for sharing whatever soul you're into at the moment.

Cheers, Steve

IMHO;

Miles better than Johnny Bristol's Polydor version which got hammered many years ago, came out on US Capitol and UK 45's and on the "Check it out" album. It also preceeds JB's version by some 4/5 years too.

Won't be able to make it this time. Need to be back in March for a Solicitor's appointment at 10.00 am on Monday.

Have a good one as they say.

Ahh sorry to hear that Pete. Never quite the same without you there. Guessing it's not for a speeding offence, but we did warn against bothering your locals too much for monthly lift to Kettering and back!:D Take it easy and see you next month hopefully.:thumbsup:
