Well here we go Steve, taxi booked with the International DJ booked for this iconic event, the 'shirt' ironed and placed in store, all that is needed is that there plenty of sustenance to keep us going.

ps. have a little 'prezzi' for you:g:,  which I'm sure will go down during the night.

STOP PRESS
Quite a few places have been saved for people deciding to just turn up on the night without tickets. So if you haven't managed to get a ticket, chances are that you will still be able to get in to the All Nighter

OK I'll be the first to say the night didn't go without it's problems. Quite a few of the Saturday night non Soulie regulars were let in and shouldn't have been. The first couple of hours were the most stressful I have ever experienced and don't want to have to go through it all again. It did however settle down and ended up being decent, with many saying they'd loved it.
I always said that it was a one off to see how it went and if it worked out OK we would do others, but that was not to be the case unfortunately. It was a very strong learning curve and I will put it down to experience, BUT I won't be doing another All Nighter at HiFi, it's too much of a city centre club to have a Northern Soul event there on the busiest night of the week.
The All dayers will carry on as usual, the next one being on the 16th August. Hope to see you there.
I did try but some things are not meant to be. Sorry.

Hi Steve,

Late in making comment, computer c**k up, but as I said to you at the end, you had to put the event on to justify yours and other peoples thought's and wishes for an all nighter.

Pity the Richard Craniums who stayed on after the Comedy show tried their best to take the urine out of the true 'soulies' (me included) with their pity-full attempts to replicate Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers samba/rumba/flora dance attempts with flailing arms and body crashes, which would have not been out of place at Headingley.

Indeed the couple who continually cavorted up and down/across the floor did manage to successfully whack TJ's wife in the face with their flailing arms, BUT they DID NOT SPOIL MY NIGHT, it(and my wife's) first all-nighter since the ********'s, we had a great time, TJ playing the last spot rustling everybody who was still awake onto the floor, still think Chris Farlowe would have gone down well, and when I look back all I can say to you mate is WELL DONE for keeping your cool, you deserved better

As i stated earlier the RC's would not spoil my night, we all enjoyed it, especially when Zoot Money was spun highlight of the night, hope to see see you at the Charity Soul do's and will buy you a glass of Lemonade (?)

Thanks for the Nice comments Dave. It did have it's moments to be sure, but it ended up as I would have wished with everyone on the floor and rapturous applause at the end. Only 2% of the people there complained and the amount of good comments and people who said they really enjoyed it, far outweigh the bad comments and the complainers. Unfortunately it's the way of the world that folk report the bad points and rarely the good. We have had over 4 years of amazing and successful All Dayers, as you say, I had to try an All Nighter due to popular opinion and demand, but in the middle of Leeds, on the busiest night of the year wasn't the time or the place.
At least we tried it and every day's a school day, lesson learned.
The All Dayers will carry on as normal, the next one being on Sunday 16th August
