Hi Guys

Tickets for the Richard Caiton concert are now available by PayPal at www.greywoodhall.co.uk/soulfulsessions

We have decided to bring the ticket sales commencement date forward for PayPal orders because we had such a great early demand for tickets at the Spirit of Soul weekender at Scarborough last weekend.

So get your tickets early to avoid disappointment later in the year.

The interest in this concert is increasing by the minute; it's going to be a fantastic concert and Richard can't wait to get over to the UK to perform for his fans with our full backing band PUSH

November may seem a long way off, but our concert with Ann Sexton last year was on us before we knew it.

All the best

Hi Guys

Thought we would let you know how we are progressing with the Richard Caiton Concert:

Richard has now signed his performance contract; his flights from New Orleans to Manchester are booked and the hotel accommodation for Richard and the band members has also been finalised.

The songs that Richard will perform at the concert have been finalised and passed on to the band for rehearsal purposes and the PA guys have been booked.

As you can see, we are just about ready for the concert, so if you intend to see Richard perform with a full band for the first time in the UK, don't leave it to late. November will be on us before we know it.

We hope all of you that attended our previous concerts will be there on the night to give Richard the welcome he deserves. Richard's songs have graced the UK soul venues for years, so this concert has been arranged to give him a little payback. Richard is not only a singer, he wrote all of his most popular releases and wrote many songs for other artists that were played in the UK clubs:  "Send Him Back" - Pointer Sisters; "Mr Big Stuff" - Jean Knight; "I'm So Lonely" - Barrons; "I've Taken Over" - Norma Jean. Richard had one release on Malaco but a number of other fabulous songs were cut at the same sessions; these songs were never released on vinyl but Richard has agreed to perform some of these songs at the concert, another reason to be there!!

Hi Guys

If you are attending the Red Bar in Wakefield this Saturday, 5th, we will be selling tickets for our Richard Caiton concert on the 19th November. A good opportunity to get your tickets cheaper than the Paypal method.

This may be your only chance ever to see Richard performing with a full band (PUSH) - the first time in the UK which may never be repeated again - not to be missed!!!!

Hope to see you all at the Wilton. Richard deserves a full house, we have danced and enjoyed his songs for many years; now is the time to give him some payback and be in front of the stage at the Wilton.

Hi Guys

Just a quick note to let you all know that Richard Caiton arrived safely at Manchester Airport this morning.

Richard sat in the back of our car singing to his CD that we were playing on the way back to good old Yorkshire.

Boy! we were amazed how well he can still sing his songs, just fantastic, can't wait to hear him in front of our band PUSH at the Wilton on Saturday night.

If you haven't purchased your admission tickets yet, there is still room for you in the Wilton, so you can pay on the door, we need your support - This is going to be a night not to be missed!

See you all on Saturday night.

Dave & Val

hear hear. Richard was superb, a true performer and that voice could melt anyone. The band were also tight and funky. Backing singers ( honeys really Mr Brown) did a decent job. Great venue and well organised. DJs kept the dancefloor busy. I'd not heard many of these records at a venue( don't get out much) but from playlists viewed these records are regularly played .A long journey up from Sussex, but was worth it. Nice to see Maxine & Keith Woon also up from down sarf. Well done everybody.
