The snow flake seen in Saturday afternoon caused a few to stay at home Saturday evening, but those who ventured out were well rewarded. The dancing styli of the turntables drew out some great and fascinating tunes from the spinning disks of vinyl. Andy Hudson and Robbie England gave us something to make your ear pick up, and take note of, while Roger Clark and Tony The Hat played some tunes that compelled us to fill the floor.

Oh, and the floor, what a resurgence. The club have had it sanded and re-treated. It an absolute joy to dance on. The texture is top notch and it looks incredible. Forget the talc; you will just not need it any more.

Early doors in the Collectors room and I was able to try out some new and underplayed until Roger came to save the day, ha-ha! Dee Hazelgrove, Andy Carling and Steve Sullivan then showed what collecting is really about and what undiscovered gems there really are. If you are bored with the over played, then this, or our Morley Sunday Soul sessions are the places for you.

Again the DJs gave of their very best and I’m really humbled by the kindness and support they all show to our club and its members. Their loyalty is beyond measure. Thank you very much lads.

Steve
