Well its back to the Old Manifesto (hopefully) for some more of the best across the board soul music in Gods Own County. For our return to our spiritual 'home' we have Mr. Whitby himself, a direct descendant of Bram Stoker (?) spinning some of the best vinyl around......................................... Ron Lavender ( there Ron, if that ain't worth a few pots of Worthington I don't know what is)

Don't think The Platters - " Smoke Get's In Your Eyes" will be appropriate some how, lol

We've been to the club today (Tuesday ) and unfortunately the smell from the smoke damage has'nt gone.So with deep regret we've decided to change venue for this night and hold it at THE AMBIENCE in pontefract just a couple of miles down the road the post code is wf8 1bn with free parking in tesco car park opposite.

The times are 7.30 till 12.30 with last orders at 12.

Sorry for any inconvenience      Tony

Sorry folks, seems like it does...............................................................anyway cannot have better 'Substitute' (the Who) than the Ambience at Pontefract, which is 'Down The Road Apiece' (Chuck Berry) from Kellingley Club. As our International DJ and Reggae Music aficionado says, next to Tesco and a nice little club to kick off your weekend with some of the best vinyl spinners in the county

Well if the 'groove' this Friday is anything like Bank Holiday Monday @the Ambience then we're in for a cracker.

Glad don't have to sell tickets for the Tocmiester this time as missed some great 'choones' when 'persuading' peeps to contribute to the Charity, and unable to shake a tailfeather on the dance floor...................................looks like its gonna be a great weekend in Ponte with the fantastic Johnnie Soul boy appearing at the Hope and Anchor on Saturday..................................may have to consider an SX 200 for mi birthday lol
