Hi Pete, sorry for the late reply.......Colin was guest of honour about the same time last year and it was a cracking night with folks comming from all over to see the man who over the years has done so much for the music we love. I know Colin has always moved forward but when he does take time to take a retrospective view, that in itself, is something to savour, not only do you get the sounds filling the room but also a first hand account of the history of that track, courtesy of Colin's amazing memory for times, places and faces.

Hi, just spoken to the Manager of the venue who will give me an update as to the situation relating to the progress during the course of tomorrow (Wednesday) Watch This Space as they say......

IMPORTANT NOTICE

LOWTON CIVIC HALL HAS HAD TO CLOSE THIS WEEKEND DUE TO VENUE VANDALISM – SOUL NIGHT CANCELLED

Please be aware that the Soul Night this Friday 8^th April has been cancelled due to the venue being broken into and very badly vandalised. Repairs required to fix the damage mean that the venue will need to be closed for the next few days and the weekend.

Sorry the event cannot take place however I'm sure that the Civic will be up and running again soon and delivering more top nights this year.

Just a quick reminder....please let anyone who you think may be going tonight that it is definitely cancelled but please be assured having spoken to the management we WILL be back ASAP.... definitely in June but MAYBE BEFORE!
