Top night at the Pie Hall, it started off with my Jill taking over the 7-8 spot playing stuff out of my box that I hadn't heard for ages - then it was over to the residents.  People started arriving fairly early and we soon realised it was going to be a great night.  It's so good to be able to play to such an appreciative crowd. Jim had a few lovely new tunes and Derek played a fantastic set - as always - where does he find them!  Sammy kept the dance floor full for his hour with a mixture of classics and underplayed - thank you Sammy - great set.  Danced more than usual - and drank more than usual - but hey ho - and Jill lost the spare pie.   Thank you everybody for supporting our club - old faces and new - hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did cos without you it wouldn't happen - thank you and keep coming.  So now looking forward to Brid weekend where we will be playing  in the club room Saturday evening.

Ooohhh, another night of exceptional Soul music. Some new tracks from the resident DJ's too which is always nice. We carry on pushing the boundaries every now and then but still play the classics that keep the dance floor alive. Sammy Seaman, you old dog!! He was our special guest and great friend of the Pie Hall - what an amazing set that left you buzzing too ???. Thanks everyone mmm, another superb night.

love ya!!

The best thing about The Pie Hall is that you always hear something you haven't heard before and all of a sudden its your new favourite! our new favourite, thanks to Derek, is "What side your bread is buttered on" by Diane Pane. Love it!!

OK Soul folk. Here we go again down at the Pie Hall. This month we have Sammy Seaman guesting on the decks. He's a well known character around Selby and York and is one of those DJ's that is in much demand at the moment. He's also a regular at the Pie Hall so he's well aware of what goes down well with us. Those of you who know him will be ready for a great set. Looking forward to seeing you all again too!

Can't believe it's almost time to party all over again at the Pie Hall!  Hoping for another packer. Really looking forward to hearing what Sammy has in store for us.  We might struggle to recognise him tho as I believe a slimmer version will be behind those decks since his last visit?!  See you lovely soulies very soon.   Jill xxx

OK, looking forward to seeing you all down at the Pie Hall tonight. We've got more new tunes to tempt you onto that dance floor too. If you can't make tonight then pop into the club room at the Bridlington weekender as we are playing there too.  No pies for birthdays there though .......... Sorry :P

We visited the club again last night, and once again we are greeted with friendlyness. I t was not as busy as normal but this is due to possibly all the weekenders which are now starting to take place. However the tunes were excellent and the Djs played some great beats, and also some originals from Wigan.  Once again it was someone birthday which they're iver a pork pie with a candle in. This club has to be one of the friendliness club we attend. Once again the ladies toilets was spotless and toilet rolls present. .    We was thinking that phelps it might be something to look into.  I.e pork pies and peas, because when the pie. With candle came out it made us hungry. We was sat next to a couple who was in the area on holiday and they came from Liverpool, they also enjoyed the night.
