A Slice Of Soul

Hello folks, don't know how much of a Cornwall contingent are active here at SS, or viewing online, but if there is folks out there who are toying with the idea of attending one of these small events that Tony is doing then bite the bullet, don't be put off by the small scale venue, the hall has a great dance floor and the acoustics are really good, if you've seen the movie 'Blue Juice' it's just like the venue depicted in the film (not THE venue, but very similar in feel and look). Not only that but Tony has a smashing collection and a nice system. Music played is a nice blend of quality Northern, Tamla and soul, all in a very pleasant setting, if you remember dancing to soul in the 60s and seventies in the youth clubs of the day this event will take you right back to them days! An added bonus is you can take your own bottle of wine or some craft beers with you and won't be subject to any rip-off bar charges! Parking isn't as hard as it looks as there's plenty of space available in the residential streets just a couple of minutes walk from the venue!

A really friendly event with great music! My lass and I will be there again this week and remember you Cornwall lot, it's no use moaning that there's not much on if you don't support the events that are available!
