I think the word “exotic” is all the clues you need to imagine what kind of act she is. Most clubs, just like in the UK had a variety of acts, strippers, dancers, comedians and of course the musical acts.

I’d agree the Mala release is West Coast but still doesn’t sound like Morris Chestnut to my ears. The lead does sound familiar though.
