So glad this is all over, I was lucky to have had my youth in Manchester in the mid sixties and attended the wheel along with many other great clubs that the city had at that time, they each catered to our mod music needs in both soul and ska loved it all the best time of my life...but over the years the wheel myth has grown and grown to meet the needs of the sad and the has beens it did close in 1971 END and the people that have come over the last twelve years well they have been attending the Legendary Twisted Wheel and for the vast majority it has been the best experience of there soul lives and each month they have wanted to feel that most unique feeling that they get everytime they visit that feeling comes from the friends and the relationships that have been forged over the years. It pours out and into every body however new they are to the club. its not the bricks , its not the myths, its nothing to do with old guard who like to play" the great I am"or the purists who while playing to miniscule audiences their latest and most expensive of finds justify it.. by branding success, as handbag.well if handbag is going home after having a day of laughter brilliant music and to have danced your feet off and wishing as the closer is played that it would just go on ..THE LEGENDARY TWISTED WHEEL@NQ LIVE 13th jan 2013 3-8pm
