    The last hopetown of 2019, I along with little dave began this venue some two years ago it has gone from strength to strength to be a very popular night. Unfortunately due to ill health I am standing down from djing. I wish to thank all that have attended the hope Town for your support and a special thanks to all the dj s that have guested in my time. Luckily dave has sourced a great replacement for me in our friend Tony Jackson, Tony is an extremely well known expecienced northern soul dj he is a original resident at the Leeds Central club and regularly djs for charity soul and brings a vast original northern collection with him, I know that the hopetown will grow even more with Tony and little dave together and of course I wish them well in the future. I will continue to keep the faith kind regards to all Roy Wright

    The best small club around going from strength to strength, we have two top djs this month, Fred and Tony residents from the famous central club in Leeds. Don't miss this one. Cheap beer, large car park, wooden dance floor (no Talc required) entry just £4.00 for the very best in northern soul and motown.

    Back to the hopetown, with the fantastic guest dj Ron Lavender back by popular demand if you missed him last year don't miss this one. Excellent venue, large car park, very cheap beer, wooden dance floor no Talc required. This is becoming a very popular venue recommended to come early.

This club is now well attended and a great venue with cheap beers, lots of parking, great dance floor (No Talc needed) this month's guest dj is the one and only Karen Megeary aka Betty BUMP, Karen is very well known on the scene.     We are very lucky this month to have two guest djs Chris Starr (Kings Lynn Soul club resident and Skegness weekender dj is visiting soul friends locally and he has been persuaded to do a guest set for us. And we have Doug Lawton who has a major record collection and has run many venues himself, plus of course your two residents playing the best in Northern Soul and Motown.
