  1. Possibly any demos would have been issues with a small sticker.
  2. I got a lot of Mojos at time of release and filled in the rest over the following years. Never seen a demo, but that's not to say they don't exist.
  3. Never seen one, sounds like a felt tip pen.
  4. Eve has just told me the capacity was 300, I thought it was packed.
  5. Unknown to me, played by a young DJ whose name I should know as I met him last year. Mainly 70s funky/disco. Although I do him a disservice as he could give a better reply. He went down very well, cheers and applause after each record.
  6. I went to a do on Friday night from 10 until 3 organised by Lev and her mother Eve, who some may know. The event was a sell out prior to opening, 150ish at a guess. 90% of attendees were between 25 and 35, Lev's hard work has paid off in Bristol. Not all records played were "traditional" northern, but the floor was packed all night. There is a demand here for something other than the usual electronic shite played at most other "young" people's nightclubs. Hopefully that was the first of many. Well done Lev.
  7. Mine is the one on Discogs. I've found it out, I give it a play later and let you know what I think. Although I'm no expert nor a hi fi aficionado. John
  8. Just arrived. Can't find reference to this. It's on ZZ Hill's brothers label. Possibly recorded live as the first half of pt1 is a very slow intro. Pt2 is a full on belter. Does anyone know about this? The one on Discogs is my entry. Cheers John
  9. Just got the Z Z Hill album on UK Action, vg+ for 20 quid, well pleased.
  10. Mention of Vernon Garrett brings me to this belter also released on Watts USA. "We People In The Ghetto"
  11. On the TK distributed label Kingston, Rising Sun - Let Me Into Your Heart.
  12. A close third behind Johnny Copeland and Barbara Lynn but still a winner for me. Johnny & Lilly - Suffering City.
