Yes Jem. He played a great set! I booked him based on what I heard at Wicksteed when he was on with Kenny Burrell. He was great and had the dance floor full from start to finish. And with the hosts backing him up it will be a top night!

Nice set at the Rock do last night Karl, and a bit of a buzz about tonight's do at Wicksteed Park. We have not heard Pete Taylor dj for a while so see you at the Park later.

What a great night of club soul at wicksteed park last night....Karl & Marco have got it spot on!....Our little crowd made the decision to attend this venue as there was nowt else on in the area and we needed a fix of good old club soul. The place was packed with soulie's from all over the northants,beds,cambs and hertfordshire....and we were treated to some good honest tunes from a couple of the local scenes nicest and most honest fellas (karl&marco) no axe ta grind,no ego's to fuel and certainly no dodgy stunts to get the punters in. Uplifting as well to see karl enjoying himself at another promoters night on the friday,how it should be supporting one another,a credit to the local scene.......it,s a shame other promoters in the area don,t do the same........you only get out what you put in......with fellas like these two around the scenes in safe hands....My Jan would like to say thanks to Karl for playing her requests....top man......many thanks for a great night........next weekend off as would you believe it theres absolutely nothing on.......bit of gardening methinks atb tezza & jan,
