Have a nice break Shaun, this should be a very special event, Ginger kept things going here when venues were thin on the ground and it was here I got back into soul after a very long time away. If I am correct guest djs included Richard Searling, Chris King, Soul Sam, Andre, Kev Parker and many more, if anyone has any memories please add. From attending the Kestrel and then Dickie Pinks and hearing the likes of Carl Willingham I was hooked and soon found myself hosting Soul at the Ooze, Barnoldswick and then joined Ginger at Burnley cc, later at the Keirby and Colne Muni all this lead to Soul at Ribchester with the late Martin Webster, the Rythm Station Rawtenstall, Hearts of Albion Earby and Rolls Royce Barnoldswik, Ginger well he's everywhere including Sweden and Italy weekenders all the Togetherness does, Torquay St Ives, Stoke, his own event at Brighouse even a new event coming to the Dunkenhaulgh in October, to many for me to mention but thanks Ginger for the memories, Roman
