A SHORT REVIEW OF MY NIGHT OUT
this was my first visit to soul shoes in well over a year due to djing duties amongst other things and i was really glad id made the effort to go
after being away from something for a long time i often wonder if its changed in any way and would i still have the same fond memories...well i was
pleasantly surprised to arrive 45 mins early and join gary and annie todd in the pub next door...these two have been promoting events in the area for a long
long time and have amassed a hard core following that attend no matter what other events are on...a warm welcome and attention to everyones wishes ensure ppl
go home having had an excellent night
£6 on the door gets you in to a nice venue with clean toilets and a nice sized dancefloor...a large stage at the back of the venue ensures the djs records
are safe from the vibrations from the energetic dancers...no bar here but that doesnt dampen the atmosphere and means a cheap night so no excuses not to go
there were a lot of faces new to me but nice to see old friends still attending and enjoying there soul fix.....a nice mix of tunes from all the djs ensured
the dancefloor saw plenty of action
really nice to see most ppl staying right till the end and not driftin away around midnight and still wanting more when the end came
a friendly crowd willing to listen to everything and dance to things they didnt know...just how it should be.....a great attendance considering the niter the
day before and the niter in brighton on the same night
