By now it was 10.30 and Darren introduced to the stage a man called Ellis Hall for those of you who don't know Ellis Hall was the direction for Jamie Foxx in the film Ray. With his keyboards fired up he then gave a heart rending rendition of Georgia, which was I have to say superb. By this time I had guessed who the next artist was and Darren introduced him as his life long musical inspiration ... Mr Bobby Womack! We were then treat to Bobby and Ellis playing every tune that was fired at them from the audience ... Bobby on guitar and Ellis on Keyboards. I was rewarded with my favorite Harry Hippie, but one song led seamlessley into the next and for the next hour and a half the experience kept everybody wide eyed until he finally finished up with "The Games that people play". Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!! Just when we thought that was it Darrens final rabbit out of the hat was Kenny Thomas who brought proceedings to a close with a quality set of classics. OUTSTANDING!
I feel priveleged to have witnessed something so special that will stay with people all of their lives, I woiuld just like to add my personal thanks to Darren and Claire McCormick and I wish them every happiness for the future!
All this was brought together by Darren in the space of 3 and a half months ... truely astounding.
Thats all from me hope you have enjoyed reading, ive ran out of superatives.
Regards Paul.
