I love the spirit of Manchester when its back is up against the wall . We had an awful week with the rioting in town seeing sections of a beautiful city being abused , but people bounce back and good always wins over evil eventually.
I was so sad sad when I saw the sign for Spring Gardens covered in soot
Two things that struck me this last weekend was how the good people of this city wont be trodden on or intimidated by the bad.
First was the messages of support from the public on the post it note board within the Arndale the messages of caring and support for the city brought tears your eyes.
Secondly was the amount that turned out for the wheel , giving it much support. Seeing that massive crowd outside Monroes just lifted your soul.
We had an awesome time there people are so just friendly at this event , strangers just speak to you saying how are you doing ? not anorak comment to be heard lol the focus is just having a bloody good time this must be the only do I frequent where I don't talk soul i just DO SOUL !
How pleasurable it was dancing to the Temptations The girls alright with meeeee...loved it
