I'm bringing a little sales box along on Saturday. There are a few 'money items' in there, so I'm posting some of the sales on here first in case anyone wants to bring the cash down on Saturday.

Grier Bos - Got A Good Woman £100
Those Two - I Can't Treat Her Bad £200
Don Gardner - We're Gonna Make It Big £250
Chantells - Indian Giver £175
Fred Hymes - Time Ain't Gunna Do Me No Favours £150RESERVED
Cookie Scott - I Don't Care £300

Quite a few cheaper items including some bargains, but can't be arsed to type them out.

If you want any of the above PM me and I'll reserve them for you to collect on Saturday. Preference goes to people who are going to Lifeline though, because I hate going to the post office!

Any chance of reserving 4 names on the door for me Chalky?

Less than a week to go folks for the return of Lifeline and the countries premier Rare Soul Dj's. We are expecting a full house so arrive early :whistling:

And as a reminder for those attending the Lifeline weekender in February, the balance for the cost of the weekend is now due. If you have a room reserved or a weekend pass get your monies in to avoid disappopintment. If we don't hear from you then your room could be passed on to someone on the waiting list.....get in touch!!!! Those who wish to attend there are still some passes available but these are selling nicely and we fully expect the lot to go soon once Christmas is out of the way.

We will take money for passes and rooms on the 10th for anyone wishing to pay.

I'd better get onto Woody, Jock and Harry then.

Let me know what we owe and I'll square you up on Satdee neet. Looking foward to capers

Chalky,

Sorry couldn't make it last night, had a previous DJ booking at Steam so had to give it a miss.

Need to sort out getting the balance for the weekender to you, if you want to PM me your address and who you want it payable to I'll pop a cheque in the post.

Piqued too soon...

" The truth is that Socialism in England is permeated from end to end with humbug. The leaders do not believe in the doctrines they preach. They do not weigh with them for one moment in comparison with the prospect of obtaining office or retaining office. They cater for one side of their followers with every argument of Christianity and altruism, while another set receive instruction in the Socialist Sunday school in the vilest garbage of atheism and revolution. Sure it wasn't Butch with Sandy Golden - You Are My Everything??? If not can't think right now :whistling:

I know i wasn't there ... due to family bereavement ... but it would have been Butch that played Sandy Golden - You are my everything - Masterpiece.

He played it at Frobisher niter.... which surprised me because i know he never used to have it.

If i'm not wrong .... Ion discovered it and i'm sure it was Rob Marriot got his copy who then sold it to Richard Searling.

FANTASTIC RECORD!!!

The B side is every bit as good .... 'When we're all alone tonight' ..... it's the exact same backing as the Sweet - Something about my baby - Soultown ..... PURE CLASS! :D
