Manship got one of these up for grabs this week.
Just wondering about real story as to why Edwin cut this radio type jingle track for the 'Legendary Scott Regan'.
Was it cut pure as a jingle or did it ever actually get issued?
Was he a mate or was it just work for Edwin?
Manship got a paragraph about it but what's the real story on this, Anyone?
Just wondering that all.

Aid.

Wow thanks 45cellar, interesting thread, looks like it's a double sided copy on JM's site, wonder what a single sided would actually fetch?
Cheers

i think someone had a single sided copy up here recently and then put it on ebay?

I found this (not sure if it was the one here) from nov 25th:

http://www.popsike.c...nr=390365369769

Went for $730

I want to know what the deal with this one is though, is it a boot visible from the auction text or something?

That Agent OO-Soul Single Sided DEMO is one of the hardest RIC-TIC DEMOs to find.

If anyone has one to sell, I can pay the $56 dollars (not looking to pay $730). Thanks a lot!

The thing with Agent 00 Soul demo is condition. It's extremely hard to find in good nick. I've had two, one with WOL all over it and now have 'upgraded to one with no WOL but dirt and wear.

Never seen a minter.

Hi Bob

Are you getting mixed up with the 'Scott's on Swingers' single-sided and the 'Agent OO-Soul' single sided?

I have spares of the 'Agent OO-Soul' DJ

Have both types of 'Scott's on Swingers' - single (blank side) and double-sided (same both sides) but they are staying in the collection

Cheers

Richard

I have the Scotts on Swingers with the blank flip. It's not in very good shape and it's in my Ohio collection. Scott Regen was the top DJ on WKNR, Detroit's largest Top 40 radio station. Regen promoted Detroit soul acts through airing live performances. I don't know how the record came to be but Regen would have been a valuable person to have on your side.
I remember hearing Regen when he was on CKLW, a station in Windsor, Ontario just across the river from Detroit. CKLW poached Regen and other Detroit radio talent to become the biggest station in the area (which they were). Both stations were available in Cleveland, sailing across Lake Erie.

Will see what Roger thinks but seems enough info in this topic to warrant its own topic, it might just get lost in a larger Ric Tic Topic. It certainly needs archiving in The Sharp End so can easily be found.

Yes, agreed Chalky now it's expanded

I'll probably just post something up with a link to this thread in the Ric-Tic thread when I get round to it
