There used to be a monthly night in NYC called DeLuxe Played Motown, Northern, R&B and anything 60s.Not sure of dates or even if it's still running They do have a Facebook page though, you could check that out.

March 10, we have our Dig Deeper night with Eric "Monty" Morris at the Bell House in Brooklyn, plus soul & Jamaican 45s spun all night before and after the live acts...
