Thanks not sure auction sales and price guides are that realistic so was just hoping that some of the more experienced than me on here could point me in the right direction.
Auction sales and price guides are a good start but a lot of those popsike prices seem much higher than I value the record personally.

I'd say £150 to £200 if done privately or on a list. Auction prices are far from realistic value, many more deals done via lists and privately that Popsike doesn't see.

Thanks chalky,
Got to agree as at the moment prices seem to be all over the place and sometimes popularity rather than rarity dictates the price..
Thanks to everyone for their help

I sold an issue a few years back for £130 on ebay
the buyer contacted me to tell me our wonderful postal service had turned it into a 300 piece jigsaw it looked like a fookin tractor had ran over it
and took me an age to get compenastion
just another of my light hearted stories

Interesting that popsike shows about five times as many demo's as issues - I'd have thought the american issue was much rarer than the demo's judging by what you see in boxes at venues and on lists.
just goes to show you ( or show me that I know almost nothing
