" The truth is that Socialism in England is permeated from end to end with humbug. The leaders do not believe in the doctrines they preach. They do not weigh with them for one moment in comparison with the prospect of obtaining office or retaining office. They cater for one side of their followers with every argument of Christianity and altruism, while another set receive instruction in the Socialist Sunday school in the vilest garbage of atheism and revolution. Great venue, cheap beer, quality rare soul of all shapes and sizes, and no better hosts in the world than Lenny and Nina.

So tell me again, why aren't I going?? :wicked:

Coming from the motorway Its the second roundabout once in Wellingboro. Take the third exit (turning right), along the road called the Embankment. The road name sign is on some railings. The venue is less than a mile on the left-hand side surrounded by a large playing field. I seem to remember there being a Tesco or Sainsbury super store in between the roundabouts????? Not too sure on that tho.

Hi Mark if you come off the A45 and go past Tescos, its straight over the roundabout, follow the road about 150 yards and you go round a left hand bend with a feild on your left and the river on your right its a few yards up from that you'll see the sign for thunderbirds rock & roll its in there hope this is some help

If you get to a crossroads with a pub on the left called the Crown & Anchor, you've gone a few hundred metres too far. If you get to the Crown and Anchor early, you havn't gone too far....go in for a pint cos they are always playing Northern and Motown in there, but mostly of the handbag variety, but I like it as a little warm up! ;)
