Chatting about cover-ups on another thread has got my mind ticking over.

DJs are lauded for 'finding', and unknown gem and playing it to the masses.

Leaving aside guys like Ady who has access to tapes and acetates etc, do you think these records would have been 'found' anyway??

Many guys I speak to have been to the states. All of them have used the opportunity to search for records. Maybe many guys HAVE found these records only for DJs to 'steal' their thunder. Didnt something like that happen to Gene with the Inverts??
