We're planning a trip to Vancouver and Victoria this Summer, just wondered if anyone knows any good venues, clubs, record stores, bars etc in the area? We've got a lot planned already including a tour of the Rockies but we've got some free time in both Vancouver and Victoria so if anyone has any suggestions we would be most grateful. okehgaz Posted May 23, 2015 Share Posted May 23, 2015 Went many years ago. found one or two bits in Vancouver but nothing on the Island. Beautiful place though sure you'll enjoy it. Also a place in downtown Vancover but can't remember the name sorry. The Okanagan region is terrific for wine and food. Skinnies Grill at Hope, East of Vancouver is as good an eatery you will find when on a road trip. Half Moon Bay north of Vancouver is a good spot to stop off if heading north up the coast. You will have a great time in this part of the world but vinyl will not be a big feature of the trip unless you head to Seattle or Portland.
