Me Kev & Garry had a great time, thanks to Mick for asking us to spin a few. There was a great vibe in the upstairs room and it was nice to play a small part in it although having to follow Andy Dyson was a bit daunting to say the least as the room was rocking during his spot - a tough act to follow
Really enjoyed it great company and superb music all day, cheers

We were leading the way alright, trouble is no one followed!

Back home after a long day/night in Sheffield, left about 4am with Mick and James still pplaying  .. Johnny and the staff are just whats needed to make everyone welcome.. Very nice venue indeed and was glad to see the show all in one room from 9pm, it worked much better that way.. Quiet start as all dayers tend to be of late, decent crowd in from early evening and i am sure this will grow as word gets out and the promoters try to keep away from toooooooo many clashes, it aint gonna be easy though with the ammount of nights on the go around the uk.. Well done to all the djs for some nice sounds indeed and thanks again to Mick for asking me to play a few tunes.. One of the best tunes was that number that James pipped Mick for on ebay :whistling: , real quality indeed..

See you all some place soon..

Steve

Thanks MickH,Andy Dyson and the Lifeline team for having us on Sunday.
Got there early after a trip around Sheffield.First up in the Upstairs room was John MAY,followed by Errol, then us,Mick n Mo,Steve Cato. Then Andy Dyson...wow what a set.The place was buzzing.
6.45 MickH says to us,"Your'e on after Andy" :wicked: .GULP!!.Talk about steep learning curve.
COOPS, the reason i didn't use the mike is that you'd have seen my breakfast all over the decks, squeakybumtime. .
Tony WIGGAN finished off at 9.00,and the two rooms became one as the upstairs closed.
Really enjoyed the good company(didn't recognise Steve Cato without a camera crew. And Lydia didn't need the MACE  ).
Went down stairs at 8.45 to hear MICK n MO,SUBLIME STUFF!!.Lots of people in by then, only trouble was,we had to leave at 9.30(lightweights) .
Great day which turned into a mini niter.NEXT TIME I'LL BE READY FOR A LONGER STAY.

just like to say a thanks to mick, andy & james for asking us to play a few tunes on sunday.and to be upstairs residents for the next few events.
thanks to all the folks who seemed to like our plays, means a lot guys. ;)
day started slow (as most dayers seem to these days)but considering the amount of events on, with in a easy drive of sheff the turn out late afternoon/night time was great.
nice to spend time with the flanmaster, the northampton crew, the team over from donny, attic boys(takin time out from tv work),vault boys, nice to see some traveller's from skeg as well :D mr&mrs catto,
and last but not least to johnny fingers for your kind words on our records and for allowing me to cross a big,big long time want off the list at long last(top guy)

keep it fresh / keep it soulful
