Thanks Terry, glad you enjoyed it

Although quieter than normal, with about 120 in attendance, quality of music was top notch as always.
It was waaayyyy too hot for a good few hours though...one helluva clammy night ...and no, the heating wasn't one (as a few folk asked )

Big thanks to everyone who came along and supported us, all the DJs for great sets, Linda for her ever efficient door duties and finally the management and doormen at Bidds for making this night so easy to run.

Our next nighter at Bidds is July 5th with guest DJs Andy Dyson, Mick H and Hoss joining the resident mischief makers.......Andy Dysons set at the February allnighter was awesome, so I'm sure we're in for more of the same

Had a great first time at bidds, we did leave before the end due to doing an allnighter on friday so dident catch the last djs, mr boogaloo you play what i like top tunes top man, oh and gingers matt lucas........TUNE.....cheers mace and will be back....

Ta for the comments and ta for Mace for inviting me. Really enjoyed it tho' the heat and the 'lsd' decks nearly did it in for me . Great night - thought Des played a blinder and Mr Heard - awesome tunage - best set I've heard from him.
What really works is the crowd - now they were fabulous and appreciate all tastes and styles (even me latin). As I always say - it doesn't matter what the jocks play the punters are those that make the night - and what a night Mace has. Looking forward to the next one.

Unfortunately had the flu n a bad chest infection so just couldn’t make the trip this time.



Wont be able to make 5^th July as its me birthday n we will be boogalooing it with warren then on to the 100 club but BIDDS is definitely on my must do list for 2008 so we will get there eventually ill make sure of it…

Fcuking great night, Karl heard absolutely awesome and a really nice chap. Mr boogaloo + mace also really stood out, well done to mace a top bloke who makes the effort to make everyone feel welcome and a massive thanks to johnny fingers for his giving me a lift, great night really enjoyed across the board tunes.

The true brilliance of Bidds is in the crowd that goes there, yet another top night of something completely different to the diet of stale "oldies" we are drip fed from the majority of the scene. Karl Heard is in my opinion ( I am entitled to one) one of the best D.J.'s on the scene at the moment, and Johnny Beggs has to be one of the most innovative. If that wasn't enough, you had Ginger Taylor, Warren, Mace, Roger Banks and Ted playing absolutely stunning tunes. There are only a handfull of venues keeping to the true spirit of "Northern Soul" encouraging D.J.'s to play with imagination, giving the night a sense of freshness and excitement, and this truly is one of them. Andy Dyson was F***ing phenomonal the last time he was on, and Mick H is rightly regarded as "awesome" , and guess where they're guesting in July................. time to cancel your holidays!!!!!!

good nite as ever, just about feel normal again!!!!!!!!! lots of new faces once again,met a few, nice to widen my circle of enemies!!!!!!!!!! des is spot on...why listen to the same old???????? bidds is a proper dingy niter run and staffed by proper soulies and down 2 earth management in a way that just works .....my hero's linda and ted always right on the money!!!!!!!! linda on the door and ted on the decks. .......brill. i hate to say it,but des was super company on the way up and goin home,like all the djs at bidds .he knows his stuff!!!!!!!!!! nice to meet callum, mrs booooooooogaloo,mrs fingers and them whose names i cant remember[ why is that???????] sold and swapped quite a few records got given cds, found um today in my record bo .....thanks jobbo nice to feel alive again, for a few days anyway ezzie
