What a shame Ian i bet you were both gutted when you found out it were,nt on, after travelling all that way too!! And booking yourselves into the Travel lodge It could and should have been deleted from the event forum, and it could have been done very easily can,t understand why it was,nt done it takes literally seconds to delete something.

Hope you both have a better weekend this week!! And look forward to meeting you both on the 27th June for the "Sunshine Girls" charity night

my apologies and deep regret that this has happened, i can only put this down to third parties not advising me of the protocal involved .Me being a humble novis to soul source i thought that the posting i did for the cancelation was sufficient and the listing in the dates section would have been wiped off.i'll now better next time. so i cfan only offer ( mr motown ) complimentory entrance for you and a friend to the next all dayer (june 15th ) and the marrs bar all nighter ( May 25th ) hope this heals the wounds..Pete

Yes have to agree with you Max, Pete is a genuinly nice guy and i think his kind offering has more than made up for the misunderstanding.

Hiya Ian, apologies from Harpo and myself , if it`s any consellation we did`nt know it was cancelled either until mid week prior. Im glad to hear that pete as offered to compensate you.

You know we humans are prone to dropping a bulluk now and again, think it mite of been a matter of lack of communication.

Nice to know you have booked a room for the next bossa nova, and decided to give pete another go, thats very forgiving on your part, thanx.

ok will see you in june, and mines a dry white wine and lemonade, Pauls (harpos) would of been a lager, but l think he`s hung himself . No not really , its good you`ve took it in your stride.
