Sage in the UK are concerned about Europe and the current situation about a 3rd wave and if they are, then I am and TBH I thought 2022 would now be a better option, but I do understand that desperation steps in and how everyone wants to get back to normal (will there ever be such a thing ?)

Yes got places booked, if we wait for sage to be happy about anything we will all be locked up for ever.

Mike. i only ever went to Prestatyn after the Cala gran closed down so weekenders never going to affect me.

I can see a vaccine passport being applied though for UK venues which if it gets me playing out again.  Bring it on. 

As long as the promoters offer refunds or tickets for next year etc, if cancellation is forced upon them,  they should attract the crowds BUT the bigger cost is transport and accommodation, so if they are not refundable it could put folks off.

If the jabs dry up....it could be over 50s only!

We all yearn for normality to return, thats for sure.

Booked for Cleethorpes.

Really missed not having my annual fix last year. Although a very minor inconvenience compared to what many have suffered.

Govt advising against foreign travel this summer may boost staycations of which a Soul Weekender in Sunny Cleethorpes must be the top of many Soulies wishlist!

"If the jabs dry up....it could be over 50s only!" Doesn't that account for about 70% of UK Soul punters? (I'd like that to be much lower of course!) And if Cleethorpes may only be allowed a capacity of less than 400 then it should sell out. Its a well ran operation so people should be able to book with confidence, and at less than 40 quid a weekend ticket its worth a punt?

If you are a "Thorpe parker and walk over", then I'd book the caravan sharpish as general summer holiday staycation demand will surely push up prices?

BTW Haven who run Thorpe have a "Haven Promise 100pc risk free bookings policy". But remember they are totally unconnected with the Beachcomber, so if The Soul Weekender is cancelled but everything else Covid wise is back to normal then Haven may not be obliged to offer a refund. But thats an unlikely scenario

Ive booked the Brid' Spa Weekender as soon as BISF announced another cancelation.  But fingers crossed and lots of prayers for Brid ' coming through.  Keep the Faith .
