Making available a series of excellent Soul recordings from the 60’s and 70’s, most of which will be released as a limited edition 45 for the very first time, and the occasional, carefully selected, re-issue. Dozens of titles are already lined up for future release. Our first release joins together two stalwarts of the Southern Soul scene, stemming from Sounds of Memphis records.

The ‘A’ side is a scorching mid-tempo, Deep Soul stepper from the legendary Willie Walker. A ‘crossover soul’ track which has already proven itself on the floor at such progressive venues as Soul Essence and Diggin’ Deep. We believe that “Two Paces Ahead Of Love” will become a firm dancefloor favourite on its very first vinyl issue.

Flip it over and we present the most stunning Deep Soul ballad from Barbara and the Browns. This track has long been revered by the Deep Soul fraternity and “It Hurts Me So Much” is considered by many to be one of the finest unissued ‘Deepies’ to come out of Memphis!

Both sides are now available on a beautifully mastered 45 for the very first time.

This collector’s release is a limited pressing @ just £12 each plus postage and packing.

Soul Shrews

Hi after buying a copy via the link I could not log out of Paypal (Maybe my non computer savvy) left the page and went back to Paypal where I was still logged in. Anybody else had this ?

No, just logged in and out with no issue. I'd suggest that you contact Paypal ASAP...

Hi Guys.

Great 45 for your first release. I sent payment on the 4th of July via your website, which went through no problem. I haven't had any correspondence saying payment received or when you'll be dispatching out the orders. I see the release date was the 13th of July, so i presume you'll be shipping out as 1st class signed for at £3.80 postage?  I sent Sean a message via your website, which was copied and emailed back to me. Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Same here ordered on 2nd July and had exptected it by now with it being released last Friday or at least a message to say why there was a delay etc...

Sean & Kev posted on Facebook that they were packing and sending out the pre-orders on Friday, due to the weekend should probably land today.

Agree - both sides are great and certainly keen to see what's next. 'Two paces' had a small jump on the first play but thankfully fine on subsequent plays, think I must have had some fluff on the needle.
