From Bebops to Backdrops - Highlight

Really enjoyed reading that magazine, especially the Retrospace article

A solid attempt at capturing the atmosphere of those early days and the subsequent development of 'Black' music in the UK.

A good editor is always useful in helping a writer to polish an article to a professional standard. With that help this one could sing even louder and clearer than it does.

Don't know...if I could...bear... to read it...but...I'll have...a go.

I also think this bar never gets a mention it was opened in 1958 the downstairs bar was called the Sink Club and was Liverpools first black music bar. Take a look

I thought so too Dell I like the fact that the reason for the name was that they used to give over sink plugs as a membership I don't think there's any soul/rnb nights on there now, but I know there used to be
