Sitting in the Park - Chicago Radio and online interviews

Sitting in the Park - Chicago Radio and online interviews cover

The Sitting in the Park site is all about a weekly Chicago Radio show featuring regular soul interviews

Though already mentioned in the forum and the site is in the soul links, as such a worthwhile reference thought its worth a highlight here in the news/article section of soul source

The Sitting in the Park site is all about a weekly Chicago Radio show "Sitting in the Park" that broadcasts every Sunday night from 7:30-9:00PM on WHPK 88.5FM Chicago

Featuring Chicago soul and group soul, mainly from the 60s through the early 70s it also regularly features interviews with many of the people responsible for that great music.

The website features all of these interviews and is regularly updated

Have listed the interviews currently up below to demo the depth of content

You can visit the site at http://www.sittinginthepark.com and listen to all the interviews

This page contains links to audio of radio interviews with soul groups done on my radio show ("Sitting on the Park" It is important to get the stories of these groups out, in their own words -- otherwise this history will remain undocumented and lost.
