Darnall Horti Soul Club on

This event is now over

Friday, January 20th, at the Darnall Horticultural Institute, 647 Staniforth Road, Sheffield S9 4RD

Into 2012 with our continuing policy of bringing our supporters the best soul sounds from the 60s and 70s, and more, all only on original vinyl . No politics, no egos, just soul, friendship and a belting night out.

8.00pm till 12.30am, bar till 12.00. £3 on the door.

This month's special guest CHRIS DALTON bringing top quality sounds all the way from Lincoln .

Attention all: this month we will be collecting to raise funds to help a 9-year-old girl, Niamh Powers, who has a rare, life threatening condition. Special treatment is available in Texas, but this, of course, will cost. Our aim, this Friday, is to raise as much as we possibly can to help this little girl. We will be holding a special raffle, all proceeds of which will go into the fund. If anyone has anything they would like to donate, please bring it along. For anyone wishing to donate cash, a bucket will be made available.

CDs will hopefully be available on the door for any donation you may wish to make .

We realise that this has come at very short notice, but the generosity of Soulies is legendary. Thank you all so much, in advance. We are sure you will not be holding back.

See you there.

All the best.

Gary, John & Alan

Note: this is now a stripped down post-event display

I don't know Niamh but I hope that the money goes a long way towards her treatment. John, Gary & Alan give yourselves a big pat on the back for raising that amount.
