Sooooo looking forward to this.

As a Stretford lad it's great coming back anytime to the N.W. and Greater Manchester in particular, .....but the last time I actually dj'd in Manc city centre was at the Wood St Bierkeller in, errr , the last century !

Great weekend with the Tadcaster Riley Hall on the Saturday and then ' Taste of Honey ' on the Sunday.

Cathy and me looking forward to meeting up with some familiar faces.

Bring it on

I'll be around for this I suspect - I was sat with aforementioned Conrad at Con.Soul who told me about the about the venue change - good job too as I'd have just plodded up to M&P's. Good venue, nice staff - should be a winner.

OH WOW!!, Chris, if you move from here.....your dead! What a fantastic afternoon/evening, the atmosphere was AWESOME! Great to see everyone, had loads of laughs AND tears, god bless Janet and Diane. The music was great (as always, by all dj's) spot of the day for me was Soul Sam who played everybody knows, i LOVE that record, and the following 7 records were WONDERFUL (any chance of a play list Sam?)

Grant also played some great tunes in "my room", namely, beginning of my life. Oh god Grant, i am SO SORRY for what i did! (mitigating factors), 1, San dared me to do it

2, I was still a bit drunk from the all nighter the night before

3, It was payback for all the times you've taken the mick out of me

That said, i hope your still talking to me!?

Charlie, (the scottish dj at the Orrell), i don't know if your on here, but god bless you for doing me 2 cd's, i'm going to listen to them after corrie, Andy G, will you tell him thanks from me?

Chris, can you remember me telling you what that Jerry Butler record was? "Stop stepping on my dreams", WHAT A RECORD!

Finally, a massive thanks to our San, for saving me from some lunatic irish bloke....... AKA Sergeant Leprechaun!........OH DEAR......H will think it's funny!, perhaps i should start staying in more?

Chris and Carlos thanks again for a WONDERFUL day!

See you soon

BIG BIG BIG THANX TO ONE AND ALL !!!!!!!!!!

You Fabulous Honeygroovers make it what it is and thatâ"žÂ¢s ËœAN ABSOLUTE JOY ! Ëœ

All our Groovey Disc-Jockeys delivered the goods as always.

Massive thanks to Sam for helping ferry me about getting equipment etc ....oh and he played some mean tunes too and stopped me talking too much gibberish at the end.

BIG HATS OFF ! too all The Groovemeisters namely ËœWild Willie West AKA 12 Willyâ"žÂ¢ , Andy Hudson (took a tumble at the end but being a highly trained Soul-Commandoâ"žÂ¢ heâ"žÂ¢s ok folks !) Derek Watmough (ace to hear Gene Barber ..itâ"žÂ¢s on the CD folks) Grant Rankin (Always on form) and our other regular Stars ËœSoul Sam ,Dave Rimmer, Matt Smart Gumbo & The Willingham Collectiveâ"žÂ¢

Massive Thanx to Our Virgin Honeygroovers ËœSteve Guanori , Pete Lyster & Nige Brownâ"žÂ¢ All absolute Gents and never a duff track really hope ya enjoyed our wee piece of Soul Heaven and hope you will join us again in the near future !

We gave the two rooms thing a whirl and will do next time yet with a shorter time so that the begginning and end will see us all together in The Bar (as it should be ! ) I personally dig the different vibes of both rooms , had some positive feeback and some folks prefer one room so weâ"žÂ¢ll shorten time and anyone playing in there will get more time to cut-loose , experiment, whateva yâ"žÂ¢all wanna do ..... so i guess iâ"žÂ¢m sayin freestylee! And that means whateva...we always say play what ya want ..thatâ"žÂ¢s how we like it at ATOH ! (i don't think Donna will let us stop now !)

Big Thanx to Sian for holding the fort while me and Sam dashed in and out with Decks etc , it was a bit Laurel & Hardy but we got there in the end...Panic...what panic.

Apologies for all the gibberish !

Big Thanx to our host at The Old Nags; SEAN (who couldnâ"žÂ¢t stop saying how much heâ"žÂ¢d enjoyed our first ATOH and how fantastic you all were ...... Thatâ"žÂ¢s you Honeygroovers ! Hey but you knew that ! Your The ËœBeesâ"žÂ¢Kneesâ"žÂ¢ !

Cyâ"žÂ¢all July 22nd @ A TASTE OF HONEY WHERE THE HEART MEETS THE SOUL !

BIG LUV

THANKS CAPT MORGAN FOR THE INVITE I had a great day firstly catching a train with a ticket and a reserved seat, goes against the grain on how it used to be done years ago, when dodging the ticket inspector guard type person. A warm welcome from Chris and Steve Cato both looking fresh from Radcliffe, and warm welcome from the Landlord Sean areal life character BRILLIANT VENUE with some of land mark events in the resent history of Manchester and the pub in its relationships with Soul music spread on the walls, a nice touch.

The music I could not fault with the line up of quality DJ's not just playing but had come to enjoy the likes of Soul Sam, Willie, Derek Watmough, great bloke & Nige Brown lovely to see Carms as well. Anyway to tell you what happened to when I fell was, I miss judged the stairs, thinking I reached the end of the stairs and I hadn't there was one more, whups just another piss artist

Big Respect to Chris

Absolutely LOVE the new venue Chris, was'nt sure about the "2 rooms" at first but i like the idea about later starts, and all ending up in one room at the end, not that we ever make it to the end, we have already crashed and burned by 9pm, did'nt help the fact that we left Radcliffe later than usual at 05-15. Chris you are a star you were still going strong on the dance floor as we left. How you pull it all together to give us a fantastic day/night at ToH i'll never know, hats off to you sir.

All dj's were excellent as always, not heard Steve G before but what an awesome spot....El Anthony!!! nuff said. Absolutely great to meet up with his other half Lorraine, not seen her for years, we had a great catch up. Grant you should'nt have told me that you had burned your back.......and if we could just lose the Oirish bullshitter it will be a crackin' venue.

Having said that i will miss the next one as i'm on holiday, (tut) who the hell can i get to keep an eye on Donna for me whilst i'm away.

Thanks Chris for inviting me to play, it was great to meet you ; Cathy and I had a blast the whole day.

Very appreciative crowd, for some wonderful tunes played throughout the day - exactly the sort of soul event we like, you simply cannot guess what might be coming next.

Good to see so many Northern faces from the North again [ and Steve and Lorraine of course ! ] - it's been too long since we last had ourselves a time with some of you lot !

I really enjoyed dj ing with Nige, one of my dj heros.
