Defo going to try and get to this Nige, with a box of those round, plastic things, of course. It's actually on Leopold Street - same location, once, of the Grand Hotel and the famous Buccaneer Bar. Oh Happy Days!

Had loads of great feedback over the last two weekends, while Ive been at differnt soul nights, it looks like this could be the way every souliee should end their weekend, food, drink & best of all Northern Soul music by the areas best DJs, I am looking forward to this day, its taken me a year to get the right venu, its up to you now to support it, if you are a DJ from any venue bring your flyers and small box of vinyl to play, find me and I will get you a spot for you to showcase your soul club.

Just to say (although it's been said many times over) what a great event and great turn out this was, a big thank you must surely go to Nigel and Elaine for all the time and effort that they put into this event to make it such a big success and even more so as they did this for the love of the music and not financial gain.

A "BIG" thank you must also go out to everyone that took the time and trouble to do their stint as DJ, often a thankless job to say the least, and in such esteemed company to allow me to do a spot of record spinning (something that i haven't done for quite a few years now) was a great honour indeed. Thanks to all those who went on before me making my 30 minutes in the limelight a far easier task than i really deserved and once again getting mentioned in dispatches, Mickey Clements who while doing his own DJ spot had to talk me through equipment usage and mike protocol, and of course doing the warm up work for my time as the turn table master.

Many thanks to all for such a great time, i'm already looking forward to the next one.
