Bishop Auckland Cricket Club on
This event is now over
In order to celebrate the 260th anniversary of the adoption of the Gregorian calendar by Great Britain and her colonies on the14th September 1752 we have organised one of our Cricket Club specials. Thanks to Pope Gregory XIII and his papal bull of 1582 we are able to celebrate Easter and the spring equinox simultaneously. So we thought what better way to pay tribute than a soul night. We tried to get a Saturday night but there's too much going on.
As usual, this is not a formal soul night, just a get together in a friendly little club with a dancefloor, decks and drink. There is no entry charge so feel free to drop in. The music is always a decent mix of everything with a tendancy to rare & underplayed. With regard to D.J's and times, the usual chaos will prevail on the night.
The club address is:-
South Church Road
Looking forward to seeing everyone. PhilNote: this is now a stripped down post-event display
