This event is now over

Black Bee Soul Club presents a night of the finest up-tempo Northern Soul in the heart of Manchester's city centre. Taking inspiration from the basement clubs of the 60's and 70's, Black Bee is situated in Manchester's most underground venue which boasts a full wooden dance floor and a huge sound system. So whether you’re a young soul or forever young soul get on your best shoes and prepare for a night of frantic dancin'.

W/ special guests

Next event: Jan 18th

KRAAK is located at 11 stevenson square (just of Oldham Street) on the alleyway behind the Hula Bar*. There is a small entrance off Little Lever St. leading to a cobbled alleyway. You’ll find the door at the narrowest point. Don’t worry, there will be signs.

I shall write a few word s on Nige's behalf as he is still sleeping off last night . I had every intention of coming down and seeing this little club for myself , but alas it wasn't to be I had exhausted myself in rainy Manchester earlier in the day and I just couldn't face it again , I was too tired :(

However Sean and Michelle arrived at mine and then joined Nige to venture down to the northern quarter around 10pm. They eventually found the doorway and were given entrance to one of the best nights out Nige has experienced all year , he said the BUZZ around the black bee soul club was just "inspirational", to see younger people enjoying and idolizing the 60's sounds was a privileged to witness.

He fell through my door at 3am :) cleared the fridge of its content and like a bee that has been blasted with cold air ( I had the window open) he gave himself into a sleepy stupor which has lasted for most of today , just getting up to eat my amazing sausage muffins :)

I am really peed off for missing such a great night , but hey ho there is always the next one :)))
