Family Affair Christmas All Dayer on

This event is now over

Join us for what promises to be an action packed comedy fuelled all day soul bonanza.

After last years halloween all dayer, which was comedy gold from start to finish, we thought that it would be rude not to treat you lovely people to another dose of hard hitting soul, funk, crossover, modern, disco, gospel, rnb and more.

We have asked various friends to come down and play. They are as follows.

Burger loving Matthew thinks himself as top mod in Manchester. All he ever talks about is the scooter he's going to get soon and his fantastic appearance on The Paul O'Grady Show where he showed the nation exactly what the scene is all about.

Matty is an eclectic collector of underplayed soul, funk, and rnb gems and we are grateful that he's agreed to be compare for the night,

Tony has recently undergone a new haircut which has made him look even younger than Dave Hulston, which is quite an achievement. Tony is one third of the legendary and sadly no longer running, Greatstone Soul Club. Tony is a Family Affair regular both as a punter and behind the decks, and I can't think of anyone that is more switched on with 60's soul music.

Sheffields finest lunatic joins the Family Affair crew once again to showcase his mighty fine collection of 70's soul and funk 45's and lp's. Brett plays and attends nights all over the country and Europe and is one of the most dedicated soulies out there. If anyone wants to spot Brett he'll be the one asleep in the corner or fighting with the coat stand.

Paul makes two thirds of the mighty Greatstone gang and is famed for his ability to uncover serious rarities and unkown monsters from a soul, funk and gospel angle. Paul is also fantastic at having to be carried out of venues he's playing at after only three bottles of peroni.

Geordie Anya recently appeared on the C4 seriers Geordies Overboard, so we're delighted to have a celebrity joining the ranks. Anya was previously resident at Beat Boutique and is well known for playing some srious good underplayed rnd and soul. Anya hasn't agreed to play yet but I'm sure that this facebook confirmation will pressure her into accepting.

Everyones favourite and by far the best Ripolles brother. After years of putting up with Jordi's strange and slighty simple brother, David, we're relieved that Jordi has accepted our invitation to come and play. Jordi is one of the most switched on dj's out there and ticks all the boxes. Here is a rare chance to see him showcasing his mighty, mighty fine record playing skills.

Another Family Affair regular, Dave has recently had his genitals removed at his own request and tried to cover it up at kidney stones. We would like to wish Dave a speedy recovery and hope that his flute is fully operational in time for the all dayer.

Hot Rats and one time Beat Boutique residents, Goff and Macca will put a different slant on things with their vast and eclectic range of 45's. Goff and Macca have been collecting the trollies at Morrisons for years. Not as a job, purely for the buzz of it. These lads have some seriously shit one liners that they will be forcing upon people on the night. They also stink, so probably don't get too close. Also, they are thieving bastards so don't leave anything of value near them.

The above will be joined by residents Paul and Adam.

I'm sure you will agree, it should be a mighty fine day. We hope you can all make it.
