yep I had a blinding time last year each time C and I came to Go Go Children, and loved dj ing there too

special atmosphere at this place and a wide range of classy tunes always played

I'll be digging deep into the boxes and bringing some extremely fresh 7's [ well alright, they might be 50 / 60 years old, but they're at the very least EXTREMELY underplayed ].......and a few faves too.

So whose coming ? Looking forward to seeing the usual suspects at or around the bar !

these should be the dj times...as always myself starting things while john finishes with the projections etc and john finishing the nite with a little ska ..probably...and then the nite split so we all have an earlier and later slot

well another great nite at gogo children so big thanx to all who came especially our guest pete lyster.two top sets mate!....had a few in before we'd started but then a bit slow till after 10 and then filled up nicely with people dancin till the end about 5 past 2....still wanted more and john had planned a couple more but strict orders from the management meant he had to stop on an anoyingly catchy funk thing which had most humming the riff as they left and was one of karens top tunes of the moment which made her night i think...

great atmosphere with some first timers and a few weve not seen in a while aswell as the regulars

playlist will be up in a bit

next month 2nd feb our 5th birthday with guests kev higham and ted massey and 50 new free cds so dont be late for that one!

bloody hell , what a sound system, one of the best I've heard

big big thanks for all the cards, prezzies and drinks bought - very much appreciated

and to John and Dean for the invite, love playing Go Go Children

and thanks to the dancers....I played a whole bunch of my all time faves last night and as is usual at G.G.C. the dancers danced to the lot of them.

See you all soon,
