Soullotto Goes Northern on

This event is now over

On Saturday February 9th 2013, Soullotto Goes Northern will be hosting another 60’s soul night at the Furness Cricket Club in Barrow. These nights are always well attended, and are well known locally for playing northern soul with a difference. Most of what we do play is from the much-loved northern soul beaten path, however we do play a health portion of new oldies.

Soullotto has been moving and shaking on and offline for 4 years, and our next upcoming event in February is our 4th anniversary. The venue has a wooden dancefloor, and our sound system is second to none. Most of all, our crowd is the friendliest you’ll ever come-across in the UK scene.

Dj’s Graham Cooper and Joe Corrance, Steve Bennett and Syd Omar, Kenny Gilmour and Danny Kinghan, Roger Moffatt and Peter Moon, and Terry Greenway and Iain Mooney will be pairing up on the decks to bring you only the very best in northern soul, 60’s R&B, and Motown classics. Also expect the occasional crossover into the early 70’s.

We are rolling from 7pm until late, and it’s £2 on the door — members £1. More information from the Soullotto website… www.soullotto.com

The flyer picture was taken by the official eye of the northern soul scene - Brian Cannon, and shows Graham Cooper in the thick of it at our last gig in November.
