Event Information

The King Bee is very excited to announce the guest DJ for Saturday March the 9th will be non other than The Hoochie Coochie Club (Nottinghams) very own Mr Kev Connellan.

Kev has DJ'd throughout the UK & Europe and is widely acknowledged as an expert in the Rhythm & Blues field.

An ear for 'dancefloor' sounds, Kev always manages to throw up a few new surprises and put records on to the want's list of even the most serious of collectors.

Having started his Dj apprentiship as co-founder and promoter of 'No More Doggin', Kev's passion for early soul & blues sounds has seen him DJ at countless R'n'B, Popcorn, Mod, and Northern Soul events.

I for one can't wait to hear Kev spinning some top notch tunes in our hip and happening club, and I'm sure he'll get a warm King Bee welcome from you good people.

We couldn't be more pleased with how well our opening night went, and it's all thanks to the folks that came from all over the UK to make it such a special night.

We never anticipated a lock out, and the speed at which we 'sold out' was surprising and extremely humbling to all concerned.

Because we are limited by the venue in numbers we request that anyone intending to travel contact us to ensure that they can be placed on a 'guaranteed entry' list, as we regrettably had to turn some folks away at the last event (I think we managed to allow most of them access later once a few early birds had flown the coup).
