A 'word to the wise' (if I may...).  As this is a fairly small (& some say intimate!) venue with a 'limited' capacity (of maybe 100 + a few?) can I recommend everyone gets there Nice & Early please :-) .  That way,  you'll be able to 'stake your claim' to a piece of the (compact!) dance-floor. I look forward to seeing all you 'Soul Folk' this coming Saturday.  Thanks Patch

Got one that ticks all those boxes Ade (well nearly!)

Eddie Kendricks "He's A Friend". Motown record probably played at The Mecca produced in Philly and a Modern favourite for me!

See you later all.

Great nite/venue nice to catch up with the Rushden boys with whom I started my soul journey back in the 70's. Ade Patch and all involved an enjoyable nite rightly deserved. Len what happened to ya birthday gimp a gram!

Thanks for including my Birthday celebrations in your great little event guys, I really enjoyed myself. I needed to let off some steam, and once again, ‘Northern Soul’ provided me with that escapism   We have some great people ‘around these parts’, and Kimbo of course …..(A ‘Topsy’ joke there for ya)…… :D

……Did I really see a ‘hybrid’ Dog behind the bar, with the head of a Labrador, and the body of an Alsatian? I’m scared of Dogs anyway, so that freaked me out at first….On reflection, the different head and body worked very well together  ……I’ve just read that back to myself, and am now a tad worried that it was actually all in my head - Oh deary dear

Thanks again guys.

All the best,

Len

Yes ,play a couple more Len ,I'll be sorted in a minute......

That was quite funny. Great fun night all round and some top soul. Just what I needed to end the summer hols.

Len...You did NOT imagine the hybrid dog....it was HUGE and just a tad scary looking, like some of the people you've introduced me to this last few years.

Ps Phil...I think I may have spotted your record box in the background on Antiques Roadshow tonight. Did you really get to meet Fiona Bruce?!
